Introduction

This technical guide outlines how to set up your wearable technology to allow you to participate in the Mindful March Challenge.  Wearable technology, such as fitness trackers (Apple Watch, Garmin, Polar), can play a crucial role in helping individuals stay active and monitor their progress towards their health goals. In this guide, we will provide step-by-step instructions on how to set up your wearable technology to participate in the Mindful March Challenge. By following these instructions, you can track your progress, rank your mindful practice against other participants, and develop a mindfulness practice that supports your overall health and well-being.  If you have any problems contact your Apeiron Life support team.

Apple Watch

Go to activity list on the watch

  1. Scroll using the DigitalCrown to find “Mind&Body”
  2. Tap “Mind & Body” to to start and track a  “Meditation” session

Garmin

Go to activity list on the watch

1. Scroll to the bottom to Add

2. Scroll to the bottom and select Other

3. Type in Customized workout name: Meditation

4. Select ✅ and Done to confirm

5. Mark the activity as a Favorite to have easy access to it

6. Move it to the top of all activities (optional)

You can now select Meditation activity at any time to allow the Apeiron Life app to track it .

Polar

Open the “Polar Beat” app

1. Tap the “+” Button to find “Body & Mind”

2. Tap “Body & Mind” to select and tap the “START” button to track “Meditation” data
